Main purpose of the role:
Responsible for leading the Sales & Marketing Team to drive performance, through motivating and managing individuals effectively. Have a Sales & Marketing plan that includes the strategy for improving current routes to market and creating opportunities for new ones in line with the annual operating plan (AOP).
Scope of the role:
The role will see interaction between numerous stakeholders, departments, agencies, and other external bodies at all levels. The incumbent should be confident presenting & influencing at all levels.
Primary Objectives:
- Manage the digital agency to ensure value for money and delivery of KPIs
- Manage marketing activities both on and offline
- Ensure legal compliance of all digital and other marketing communication
- Manage all marketing materials in the office and in customer premises
- Set up & manage/implement all roadshows, expositions, meetings, and conferences as required
- Control the marketing budget across the Residential Division and ensure ROI is monitored and managed
- Focus on attracting new customers to the websites, resulting in positive sales results
Primary measures of effectiveness:
- Digital KPIs inclusive of, but not limited to: Clicks, CPC, Leads, Conversions, cost per lead, cost per sale, AOV & dropout rates
- ROI of offline marketing spend with YOY improvements
- Improvement of SEO activity on both websites, monitoring CTR and CTA
- Promotional effectiveness in volume & margin KPIs
- Build brand recognition with measured benefits
- Ensure marketing spend is within budget
Secondary objectives:
- Create a marketing calendar
- Create sales flyers for trade customers as required
- Create and manage samples for the sales team & trade customers
- Manage projects as required
- Manage social media corporate feeds
- Set up and run a photography studio to capture and manage a digital catalogue
- Monitor and manage customer reviews
- Manage copywriting for external & internal publications online & offline
- Provide market analysis to the senior management team
- Ensure reports are completed and communicated as per requirements
- Apply people management skills to create a positive team culture within the department
Qualifications - Skills - Experience required for the role:
- Marketing qualification or related field - degree level preferred but not essential
- Proficient in MS Office
- CRM experience such as MS Dynamics
- Proficient in analytics tools - such as Google Analytics
- Highly literate and numerate
Direct reports:
Marketing Team
Key Relationships:
- Maintain a close relationship with the Operations team to understand production and capacity considerations, as well as an understanding of engineering and quality aspects of product development
- Internal interfaces will include the Customer Service Team, Commercial Finance, Sales, and collaboration across various channels as required

- Based in Luton

- Trade & B2C experience advantageous
- Experience in Home Improvements / Building products an advantage
- A full driving license
