The Opportunity

The Body Test Operations (BTO) team is responsible for planning and managing physical prototype test properties that support the development and approval of body components for business programmes. These properties, often referred to as 'rigs', typically consist of a painted body shell equipped only with the parts necessary for a specific test, rather than a fully assembled vehicle, and a number of supporting 'kits' of parts. For some of the new models currently in development we're also planning, building and managing a large number of Instrument Panels & Floor Consoles (IP&Cs) assemblies to support development and sign-off testing.
