Position Description:
The Facility & Technology Development team are responsible for the design and delivery of facility components, test rigs and the infrastructure required in support the test plans for Build and Test Operations.?The area is also responsible for the development and delivery of key new facilities, technology, infrastructure and strategy for Build and Test Operations, project leading from concept through to delivery.
Skills Required:
- Experienced CAD user for 3D modelling.
- Understanding of various manufacturing techniques and how to optimise designs accordingly.
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering design, ideally within a test environment with a focus on component and system level rig design.
- Degree level in mechanical engineering or similar
- Ability to produce and interpret 2D complex detailed drawings in order to prepare parts for manufacture and assembly.
